Tribute to Josep Vendrell i Roca. Josep Vendrell in the UAB.
On 31 October, a tribute will be paid to Josep Vendrell, professor at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, who was vice-rector of Organization and Dean of the Faculty of Biosciences.

The treibute, entitled “Joseph Vendrell’s footprint in the UAB”, will feature the intervention of Grand Rector Javier Lafuente, the Dean of the Faculty of Sciences, Juan Jesús Donaire and the Dean of the Faculty of Biosciences, Isidre Gibert, among other institutional representatives. In addition, the Inauguració de l'Aula Josep Vendrell i Roca, located on the floor-1, tower C0, will be carried out.
The second part of the event is entitled "Joseph Vendrell's footprint in the world of proteins" and deals with his scientific career. It will present the director of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Assumpció Bosch, and will be attended by the professors Blanca Sansegundo, Salvador Ventura, Xavier Avilés and Jaume Pi.ol, the head of the Biochemistry Unit of Biosciences. Finally, the day will close with a musical farewell by David Reverter.
