New call for aids for UAB global justice cooperation and education projects

Since 1993, the UAB's Fundació Autònoma Solidària (FAS) is in charge of the UAB Solidarity Fund, which thanks to the donations of the university, students, lecturers, researchers and adminstration and services staff, helps to finance and give support to global justice cooperation and education projects organised by members of the University.

UAB Solidarity Fund's XL Call 

The XL call is aimed at helping launch initiatives that contribute to understanding and transforming the causes and effects of global problems directly from the UAB.

The call offers two possibilities: International Cooperation for Global Justice, where projects must be based on inter-university cooperation related to improvements in teaching quality, the creation of research skills and/or improvements in counterparty management; and Education for Global Justice, which must take place at the UAB and must serve to raise awareness and provide citizen participation tools with the objective of building a politically active university community, one that is socially committed to building a fairer world.

Applications can be sent in until 30 March 2023 at 3:00 p.m.

E2022-2023 Call for UAB graduate students

The E2022-2023 call focuses on university cooperation projects in the Global South and on Education for Global Justice projects conducted by students at the UAB.

To sign up for this call, applicants must be graduate students enrolled at the UAB in the 2022/23 academic year or have been accepted to a programme starting in the 2023/24 academic year, with knowledge of the language of the country in which their project takes place. They must also have the guidance of a lecturer or tutor at the UAB and not have received a grant in any of the previous calls.
