International students and staff share their experiences at the UAB

07/09/2017
The International Partner's Day will include representatives from universities collaborating with the UAB in different projects from countries such as Australia, Canada, South Korea, South Africa, Taiwan and Chile. They will learn about interesting aspects of teaching, conducting research and studying at the UAB thanks to the first-hand experiences shared by international students and staff. The UAB aims in this manner to strengthen the ties with visiting univerisity members and foster new collaboration possibilities. The meeting has been organised to coincide with the higher education conference EAIE'2017 taking place in Seville from 12 to 15 September, which will include the participation of a UAB delegation.
At 9:30 a.m., the International Partner's Day will begin at the Faculty of Economics and Business Studies with a short welcome and presentation of the UAB's international outlook by Vice Rector for International Relations Màrius Martínez and the Assistant Vice Rector for International Relations Maite Paramio. Participants will then be taken to visit the campus and discover the facilities at the Institute of Environmental Science and Technology, and the Vila Universitària residence halls. The day will end with an exchange of experiences among visitors and international relation representatives from different UAB centres.
