Cold weather alert
The Government of Catalonia has activated its civil protection plan for emergency weather, PROCICAT, due to the episodes of low temperatures and snow forecast for the following days by the Meteorological Service of Catalonia. Information on measures to be taken will depend on the evolution of these weather conditions.

The Government of Catalonia has activated its civitl protection plan PROCICAT due to the low temperatures and snowfall forecast for the following days by the Meteorological Services of Catalonia (SMC). There is a danger of moderate snowfall at levels lower than 200 metres.
Civil Protection urges citizen to use extreme caution outdoors due to the possibility of ice forming on roads, and recommends following the advice given by the Catalan Transit Service. Caution should also be taken when using heaters at home, making sure to always have a correct ventilation.
Civil Protection requests that citizens use extreme caution when travelling and during outdoor activities, both for leisure (users fot he SAF Physical Activity Service) and work-related (SAF monitors and staff, managers of Architecture and Logistics, Farm Services, and very specifically external maintenance and construction workers). If the conditions are not favourable, the activity should be suspended.
