Information:
We offer exams to the university community, professionals, and anyone over 16 years of age who wishes to accredit their language proficiency.
Important note: All exams are conducted in person.Our certificates
In this exam session, you can take an exam to certify that you have passed one of the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
The levels available in this session are: A1, A2, B1, and B2.
Dates and times: Exam session (January 2027)
- The exam period is from January 25 to 29.
- Specific dates and times will be specified in December.
Registration dates: From January 8 to January 14.
Registration is done via Les meves gestions.

Time slot reservation for exam components:
Once registered, you must reserve a time slot for the different parts of the test via Les meves gestions. The reservation period is from January 18 to January 20.
Candidates with special needs: UAB Idiomes will try to adapt the tests to the special needs of candidates with any type of disability. For this reason, candidates must state that they have a special need at the time of registration. UAB Idiomes must receive, at least 10 working days before the first component of the exam, the individual recommendations report from the UAB PIUNE service (or another entity recognized for these purposes), clearly specifying the recommended adaptations. If this report is not received or is not received in time, no adaptations will be made to the exams.
Results:
Results will be published on February 5 at 12:00 PM on Les meves gestions.
Regarding other Language Service certificates, they will be sent by email within approximately seven working days following the publication of grades.
Reviews:
Candidates have the right to request an exam review. The purpose of the review is to show candidates their exam script and, if necessary, explain the structure of each test, the marking criteria and procedures, and the pass requirements. Under no circumstances may candidates take away or photograph the materials shown during the review.
Exam reviews will take place on February 8.
Appeals:
Following the review, in the event of disagreement with the grading, candidates may submit a written appeal to the UAB Idiomes Office addressed to the Management.
For this session, the appeal period is February 8.
Appeals are resolved by an Appeals Board consisting of the Head of Studies, staff from the Assessment and Certification Unit, and a representative from the corresponding language section. Appeals are resolved within a maximum of three weeks.

Reserving times for different parts of the exam
Once you have registered, you must reserve a time for the different parts of the exam through the Student area. The reservation period is from 31 May to 9 June.
Candidates with special needs
UAB Idiomes will try to adapt the tests to the special needs of examinees with disabilities. To this end, it is necessary for examinees to indicate that they have a special need when they register. At least 10 days before the first test in the exam, the SdL must receive the individualised recommendations report from the UAB’s PIUNE (or another recognised entity for such purposes), in which all recommended adaptations are clearly indicated. If this report is not received, or if it is not received in time, no adaptations can be made to the examinations.

Results will be posted on 2 July through the Student area.
Exam reviews
Candidates are entitled to an exam review. The purpose of the review is to show candidates their exams; it is not for negotiating the final grade awarded. Additionally, candidates can be given an explanation of how each part of the exam operates, the scoring criteria and procedures, and the criteria for passing the exam. Under no circumstances may candidates take away any materials shown to them; nor may they photograph such material.
The review period is 5 July.
After the review, those candidates who may disagree with the scoring can submit a written appeal, addressed to the Director, at the administration office, UAB Language Service.
For this exams period, the appeals period is 5 July.
