Master description

The Master’s Degree in Social Policies, Work and Well-being is structured in one academic year of 60 ECTS distributed over two semesters.
In the first semester, students take 30 ECTS, 18 of compulsory training in Methodology and Techniques of Social Research (6 ECTS) and Master’s Thesis (6 of the 12 ECTS). In addition, they must take 12 ECTS chosen from various applied elective subjects, such as Comparative Employment Policies, Globalization, Educational Policies and Inequalities, or Management of Religious Diversity.
In the second semester, 30 ECTS are completed, with compulsory training in Work, Gender and Social Organization of Care (6 ECTS) and the completion of the Master’s Thesis (the remaining 6 credits of the 12 ECTS). The rest is covered through electives that allow specialization in areas such as redistributive policies, equality and feminisms, labor market, advanced methodology, migrations, or external internships.
This design ensures balanced training, with a solid theoretical-methodological foundation, spaces for specialization, and the autonomous development of the Master’s Thesis.
