Access

Access to this master's degree is open to holders of an official bachelor's degree from a Spanish university or from another higher education institution within or outside the European Higher Education Area, provided this gives access to postgraduate studies in the country of issue.

Admission requirements

The admission requirements are as follows:

  • Students must hold a degree, bachelor’s, diploma, technical or higher engineering, or technical or higher architecture qualification in one of the fields related to territorial management (Geography, Environmental Sciences, Biology, Geology, Geodesy, Geomatics and Surveying Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Forestry Engineering, Computer Engineering, Architecture, Archaeology), and other disciplines related to environmental management, as well as Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or equivalent qualifications in which the Master’s coordination considers that the necessary conditions exist for the student to successfully complete the courses offered in the program.
  • Non-Spanish-speaking students must certify at least a B2 level of Spanish in order to adequately follow the classes and understand the materials provided in the different subjects.

Selection criteria

When the number of applicants exceeds the available places, the allocation of places will be made according to the following priority criteria:

  • Academic record (80%)
  • Research experience (15%) accredited through:
    a) Published articles
    b) Conference presentations
    c) Participation in research projects
    d) Research grants
  • Motivation letter (5%)
