- Recognize the functions and relationships of living organisms according to the ecosystem in which they are found.

- Identify animal and plant diversity using different macroscopic, microscopic and molecular methodologies and tools.

- Use biostatistics and bioinformatics resources to analyse and interpret ecological data.
- Use appropriate methodologies to observe, conserve, identify, and characterize plant and animal organisms.
- Plan specific samples and experiments in different branches of environmental biology for subsequent implementation.
- Apply the appropriate methodologies to analyse the dynamics of populations and communities in natural ecosystems, establishing relationships between them, with other organisms and with the environment.
- Analyse the origin, evolution and diversity of living organisms.
- Conduct studies of characterization, management, conservation, and restoration of populations, communities, and biological ecosystems.
- Organise biological-environmental information in a clear, concise manner at different levels of complexity, using the most appropriate tools and language for its effective communication to expert and non-expert audiences.
