Student Profile

Future students of Audiovisual Communication are expected to be have communicative competence. Communication competence, both oral and written, is necessary, with a fluent, persuasive and clear expressive ability, as well as the ability to analyse, understand and present quantitative and qualitative information accurately. Communication must be based on a command of Catalan, Spanish and English proficiency at the B1 level. 

In terms of personal skills and qualities, a genuine interest in the field of communication in general and audiovisual communication specifically is required. A willingness to participate actively in the development of audiovisual projects is also essential. The ability to connect effectively with a wide range of people and to understand the different communication processes along the audiovisual value chain is also essential.

Finally, it is essential to show interest in communication technologies, as well as the ability to acquire advanced competence in them during the first year of training. Having an interest and being attentive to industry trends in order to keep up to date is also one of the crucial elements to progress positively in the degree.
