The programme is addressed to students with official bachelor's or master's degrees who, in the case of bachelor's degree students, have at least passed 50% of their credits; as well as meeting all of the other requirements. Applications to participate in the programme can be sent in until 26 April on the programme's website.

The work placements must last at least 300 hours, and can be done within the current academic year, during the summer months. This year, students will be receive a minimum salary of €7 per hour in concept of a study grant.

The "Pràcticum Odisseu" is in charge of co-funding 50% of the salary paid to students, while the universities are in charge of covering all management costs and informing their students about the programme. The UAB collaborates with Odisseu through its Employment Service Office.
