On November 7th, students of the degree in Audiovisual Communication enjoyed the talk "Essential elements in the writing of dialogues" by the screenwriter Piti Español and organized by the Department of Advertising, Public Relations and Audiovisual Communication, with the support of the Faculty of Communication Sciences.

During the talk he presented to the students of the faculty the resources and tools that he considers essential for the writing of the dialogues, placing special emphasis on the importance of estimating what you do as well as what you create and transmitting emotion and expectations to the viewer with the smallest number of words “Speech has a meaning, has an intention”.

The event also showed several examples of mythical scenes of films and series where the students could see applied the different resources that Piti had previously explained.

Finally, he also presented his new book How to write dialogues that work for film and television, published by Ed. Laertes.
