The Faculty hosts a training day about the University Teaching and Artificial Intelligence

The UAB's Faculty of Communication Sciences held a training day on 28 September about the university teaching and generative artificial intelligence.

On 28 September, the UAB's Faculty of Communication Sciences held a training session about the University Teaching and Artificial Intelligence, coordinated with the Faculty of Letters, with the intention of promoting a training strategy from the university in this new context.

The day was held in a three-and-a-half-hour session, from 10:30 a.m. to 14:00 a.m., which was divided into two blocks. In the first block, theoretical and ethical aspects of artificial intelligence were discussed, such as what is and what is not AI, by Sergi Robles or AI, Ethics and communication by Patricia Ventura. This first block, which should have ended at 12.30 p.m., was lengthened by the debate and the questions of the assistants.

The second block, on the other hand, focused on practical aspects, exposing examples of AI uses in teaching.

The conference was intended to offer an initial global approach to the phenomenon of artificial intelligence, treating from the most practical aspects of the operation of these tools to the most ethical and philosophical.
