Swine fever and mobility. Update
Update to the walking and cycling access routes to the Campus
14/01/2026
Starting January 14, 2026, pedestrian and bicycle access via the Badia road, which connects the Campus with Badia del Vallès, will be partially reopened. This access had been completely closed as a result of measures imposed by the Government of Catalonia following the confirmation of several cases of African swine fever (ASF).
From January 14, pedestrians and cyclists needing to access the Campus for work or study purposes will be permitted to use the paved road. Access for leisure or recreational activities is not permitted.
However, the greenway connecting the UAB trucks with Sant Quirze and Bellaterra will remain closed until further notice.
