Alternatives to accessing the Campus via paths and bicycle lanes

Following the confirmation of several cases of African swine fever (ASF) in wild boars found dead around our campus, and in accordance with the guidelines of the Government of Catalonia, a series of measures have been implemented to prevent the spread of this virus. Among these measures, access to certain areas that are normally used by people walking or cycling to the campus is prohibited. The affected access points are the path leading up from Badia del Vallès to the campus and the Vía Verde (Greenway).

For those cycling to the campus from Sabadell, Barberà, or Badia del Vallès, the only alternative is to continue cycling from Badia del Vallès to the Serraparera neighborhood and from there reach the campus by crossing the AP7 motorway via the old bridge. Extreme caution is advised on this stretch, as it involves sharing the road with heavy traffic.
