Open Call for the Catalan Observatory of Justice in Gender-Based Violence Awards 2025

The Catalan Observatory of Justice in Gender-Based Violence has announced the fifth edition of its awards, which recognize research works, initiatives, and professional careers dedicated to eradicating gender-based violence in the field of justice.

The call for the fifth edition of the Catalan Observatory of Justice in Gender-Based Violence Awards is now open. These awards aim to recognize research works, initiatives, and professional careers committed to eradicating gender-based violence in the field of justice.
The awards are divided into three categories:
- Category A: research works (doctoral theses, bachelor’s and master’s theses, and research papers).
- Category B: initiatives and practices for the eradication of gender-based violence in the field of justice, promoted by entities, institutions, organizations, or individuals.
- Category C: recognition of a long and pioneering professional career in this field.
Doctoral theses and academic works must have been submitted and graded between 2024 and 2025. Research papers must have been published in Catalan scientific journals or in journals with the FECYT quality seal during the same period. Submitted initiatives and practices must correspond to actions carried out in 2024.
The application period began on September 30 and will close on October 20 (until 2:00 p.m. on the last day).
