Physics Saturdays
Physics. An exciting adventure.
We receive the benefits of physics in our daily lives so continuously and permanently that we are not fully aware of it. Part of our lives is tied to technology derived from the principles of physics. Isn't it time to know these principles?
Physics Saturdays are a series of meetings to get to know the world of physics first hand. The department schedules a series of conferences each year related to the present and future of physics. We complement the meeting with activities, presentation of the degrees in which the department participates and a visit to the laboratories.
The last Physics Saturday is scheduled in conjunction with the Mathematics Saturdays, celebrating the excellent reception the double degree in Physics and Mathematics has in our UAB.
We want to give you an overview of the vast and exciting world of physics aimed primarily at high school students who are interested in science, especially physics. Teachers are also welcome.
