The XIII Cajal Conference brings together the neuroscience community in Cádiz
The 13th edition of the Cajal Conference 2026, organized by the Sociedad Española de Neurociencia, was held last week in Cádiz. The meeting, which included members of the Institute on the organizing committee, served to share advances, foster scientific debate, and promote new collaborations within the neuroscience community.
This edition focused on brain energy metabolism, with a program featuring high-level speakers and strong participation from early-career researchers.
The scientific quality and exchange of ideas stood out in a conference that continues to establish itself as a key meeting point in the field of neuroscience.
Beyond the scientific sessions, Cádiz offered attendees the chance to enjoy spectacular sunsets, an ideal setting for networking!
The meeting closed on a very positive note for both participants and organizers, already looking ahead to the next edition.
