The Miniscopes workshop was a great success!
The first edition of the advanced in vivo calcium imaging workshop using Miniscopes took place at the Institute from June 10 to 12. This intensive course, organized by AnderoLab, equipped participants with essential skills to study neuronal activity in freely moving rodents.
An international team of researchers from AnderoLab led the course, titled “Basic Training on Miniscopes in Neuroscience”, providing hands-on training in this cutting-edge technique. The program included theoretical principles, practical sessions on stereotaxic surgery using simulated skulls, and data analysis (learn more about Miniscopes).
22 students and researchers took part in the workshop, highlighting the high value of the practical sessions in particular. The course allowed them to refine their skills in advanced imaging techniques and boost their ongoing research.
