02.03 Fundació Autònoma Solidària

The Fundació Autònoma Solidària (FAS) was established in 1999, continuing the ongoing work of the OAS (Oficina d’Afers Socials), which had been created in 1994. The foundation promoted and managed the Programa de Promoció de la Salut, the Programa per a la Integració dels Presos (PIP), and the Programa d’Integració dels Universitaris amb Necessitats Especials (PIUNE), while fostering action, training, and research in the field of university engagement and cooperation.

It serves as the main reference point for cooperation and social commitment at the UAB, both within the university community and externally, through its relationships with organizations, public administrations, and other universities.

The Fundació Autònoma Solidària remains active today.
