01.08 Escola Universitària d'Infermeria i de Teràpia Ocupacional de Terrassa (EUIT)

The Escola Universitària Creu Roja is an institution with more than a century of experience dedicated to the education of healthcare professionals.

Its origins date back to 1918, when it was founded under the name Escola de les Dames Infermeres de la Creu Roja, a pioneering institution in nursing education at a time when the profession was beginning to develop into a modern discipline.

In 1993, the degree in Occupational Therapy was introduced, expanding the institution's academic offering beyond nursing. Later, in 2012, the Escola Universitària d’Infermeria i de Teràpia Ocupacional de Terrassa (EUIT) took over the training of occupational therapists from the Escola Universitària Creu Roja, further strengthening its role as a leading centre in the health and social care field.

The School has been affiliated with the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona since 1983, ensuring the academic quality and official recognition of its degree programmes.
