01.17 Escola Universitària de Ciències Socials de Manresa (FUB)
Escola Universitària de Ciències Socials de Manresa, part of the Fundació Universitària del Bages (FUB), began its activity in the 1990s as a university institution specializing in business studies. In its early years, the programmes it offered were affiliated with the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, which provided academic accreditation for the degrees and guaranteed their official recognition.
This connection with the UAB helped consolidate the university project in Manresa and facilitated access to higher education in Central Catalonia. Subsequently, with the evolution of the Catalan university system, the FUB became integrated into the UManresa campus of the Universitat de Vic – Universitat Central de Catalunya.
Today, the Facultat de Ciències Socials offers degree programmes such as Administració i Direcció d’Empreses (ADE), Educació Infantil, and others related to the social sciences.
