01.16 Escola Universitària d'Infermeria de l'Hospital de Sant Pau

Escola Universitària d’Infermeria de l’Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau was founded in 1953 as an Escola d’Infermeres and began its teaching activities in the 1954-1955 academic year. Initially, it offered studies leading to the qualification of Ajudant Tècnic Sanitari (ATS).

In 1978, it became part of the university system and was transformed into the Escola Universitària d’Infermeria, affiliated with the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Since then, the institution has trained nurses while maintaining a close connection with the healthcare activities of Hospital de Sant Pau.
