04.02 Maria Jesús Espuny Tomás

Dr. María Jesús Espuny has played a leading role in the development of Labour Relations studies at the UAB. She also served as Vice Dean of the Facultat de Dret, Coordinator of the Double Degree in Relacions Laborals and Dret, Director of the Centre d'Estudis i Recerca Dones i Drets, and Coordinator of the Alumni Community for Relacions Laborals.

In 2016, she received the Jaume Vicens Vives Award for Quality in University Teaching, granted by the Generalitat de Catalunya.

On 1 June 2022, she was appointed University Ombudsperson (Síndica) of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
