On 3 March, the Instituto Cervantes in Madrid will host the 1st CLARIAH-ES Conference on Libraries: Digital Infrastructures and Open Science, a meeting that will bring together professionals from the library, academic and digital humanities sectors to reflect on the new challenges and opportunities facing the field. The conference will also be available to follow live via streaming.
The main aim of this initiative is to promote dialogue and reflection on the role of libraries as digital research infrastructures in the Digital Humanities. In this context, the conference seeks to highlight the strategic role of libraries in the management, preservation and dissemination of digital knowledge.
In addition, the programme will address various initiatives related to Open Science, exploring relevant projects, tools and experiences that help to foster more open, collaborative and sustainable research models.
