Teaching and Research Staff (PDI)
Teaching and research staff (PDI) carry out high level teaching both in terms of knowledge and culture as well as in terms of specialised training and preparation for students' professional practice.
The teaching and research staff also participate in the creation of scientific, technical and professional knowledge by dedicating themselves to research and transferring the results obtained to society.

Technical, Management and Administration and Services Staff (PTGAS)
The Technical, Management and Administration and Services Staff (PTGAS) are responsible for supporting the university’s activities, providing advice and assistance, as well as carrying out management and administration in the necessary areas to achieve the university's aims and objectives.

Students
Student Coordinating Body (OCA)
The Student Council of the Faculty of Communication of the UAB is the student representation and coordination body of the faculty, with a special interest in promoting student interest and activity in the academic, cultural and political spheres of the faculty.Its main objectives are to:
- Be a cross-cutting body of information between students and their class representatives, as well as a bridge with the governing bodies of the faculty.
- Be a space for the coordination of student projects between all students at the faculty level.
- Encourage the participation of students in all areas of the faculty through the regular meetings of the OCA.
- Look after the interests of all students and to implement the appropriate measures at the faculty level to try to satisfy them.

The Course Delegate
The delegate is vital for monitoring the way in which the degree courses are delivered and received. They are the basic interlocutor for improving and promoting a comprehensive training model, in which students take part in the day-to-day aspects of their own training.The delegates are chosen by their academic group at the beginning of the academic year, and are in direct contact with the degree coordinators, the dean's office and the Community Promotion Unit.You can consult the list of academic group delegates to find out who to contact in your faculty.
