Lecturer Marta Salla takes part in the “Nòmada” radio program on mental health and well-being in the university community
Dr. Marta Salla, professor and researcher at the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), recently participated in “Nòmada 7: Mental Health and Well-being Special”, an initiative promoted by UAB Media and organized by the UAB Faculty of Communication Sciences.
The “Nòmada” project brings its radio programme to different faculties across the university to explore topics related to each field of knowledge. On this occasion, the program was broadcast from the Faculty of Psychology, focusing on mental health and well-being in the university environment, a topic of particular relevance to the academic community.
During the program, several invited experts shared their knowledge and perspectives on different aspects of mental health. Representing the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology, Dr. Marta Salla participated in a segment dedicated to interpersonal relationships and grief processes during university life, with a particular focus on coping with emotional loss and the importance of affective responsibility on social media.
The program also featured contributions from other specialists who discussed topics such as cyberpsychology and digital anxiety, academic stress and burnout, as well as testimonies from students and representatives of mental health associations.
The initiative provided an open and rigorous platform for discussing the emotional challenges faced by the university community, fostering awareness and reflection on psychological well-being.
