The UAB's Prevention and Assistance Area has received a distinctive diploma in the category "Elements of integration of occupational risk prevention" of the Atlante Awards, organised by Foment del Treball federation. The award ceremony took place on 9 November and the diploma was collected by Montserrat Peregrina, head of the Area.

The 4th edition of the WHO Laboratory Biosafety Manual has finally been published in late 2020, together with the seven supplemental monographs that cover the various technical and organizational topics of biosafety.
