Application process

Nominations

Before submitting the online application, the home university must send us a list of the students selected to come to UAB, prior to the dates indicated above, to the following email addresses:

Erasmus +:  Erasmus@uab.catUAB Exchange Programme: uab.exchange.programme@uab.cat 

This list must include the following information:

  • Name of the sending institution
  • Full name of the student
  • Student’s email address
  • Field of study (if possible, please include the Erasmus area code specified in our bilateral agreement)
  • Period of stay (1st term, 2nd term, full academic year)

Please note that no application will be considered without prior nomination from the student’s home university.

Application periods

UAB provides an online application form available at http://sia.uab.cat/ during the following periods:

Erasmus Programme

  • 1 May to 15 June, for students starting their exchange in September.
  • 1 November to 10 December, for students starting their exchange in February.

UAB Programme

  • 1 March to 15 May, for students starting their exchange in September.
  • 1 October to 15 November, for students starting their exchange in February.

VERY IMPORTANT: The application form will only be available during the periods indicated above. Outside these dates, students will not be able to submit their application.

Accepted students will receive an admission letter by email, as well as a document with useful information for their future stay at UAB. Once the admission is confirmed, they must send their Learning Agreement to the Exchange Office of the faculty where they have been admitted.
