Exhibition: The incorporation of the Lynx Collection in the Science and Technology Library

Lynx Editions assembled an important library on ornithology and other works of natural history. This collection arrived as a donation to the BCT. This exhibition shows a selection of these works, which will be present between April 15 and May 2.

To edit their projects, the team of editors needed to consult a lot of bibliography, which resulted in the formation of a library specialized primarily in birds, but also on mammals, reptiles, other animals, as well as plants and natural spaces of the world. This collection reached more than 4,000 volumes, and a collection of specialized magazines.

It is one of the most important ornithological libraries in Spain. In 2022, an agreement was reached whereby the collection would be incorporated as a donation to the Science and Technology Library. Once the collection has been transferred to the UAB, it has already been processed and can be consulted in the BCT's Silence Room.

The exhibition can be visited between April 15 and May 2 at the Science and Technology Library.
