Dynamed database training sessions at UD HUGTIP

On Wednesday, April 24, the Library of Medicine has scheduled two training sessions on the Dynamed database, a key tool that combines clinical evidence with expert guidance and is considered the number 1 resource worldwide.

Next Wednesday, April 24, two training sessions have been organized on the Dynamed database, considered the number 1 resource worldwide for clinical decision support and patient care ("Best in KLAS" 2024).

This tool allows doctors, students and medical teachers to find answers to their questions quickly and easily. Dynamed includes evidence-based clinical practice resources by providing overviews and recommendations, accurate search results, graphics and images, specialized content, expert reviewers, and drug information from Micromedex® Clinical Knowledge Suite drug content.

The two training sessions will be held on Wednesday, April 24, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the Computer Training classroom (Teaching area, spine 2C, second floor of the Modular Hospital, next to the nursery building) of the Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital. Capacity for 20-25 people.

Those attending the training will be able to learn in-depth about the Dynamed database as well as practical advice for searching by specialty, information on medications and possible interactions, and medical calculators (EBM). They will also be able to create their personal accounts, configure personalized alerts and learn how to use the app.
