Many mental disorders begin very early in life and gravely influence the child's development, educational performance and ability to live a full and productive life. One of the environmental factors causing a predisposition for psychopathologies is early life stress. It is therefore vital to know which factors generate stress and apply preventive and therapeutic measures.

Organised by the UAB Institute of Neuroscience and the CORE in Mental Health, the workshop aims to reunite renowned local and international experts and basic, clinical and translational researchers to share the latest advances in this field, explore new horizons and communicate the most recent results in preventive and therapeutic measures for the benefit of today's society.
