Seminary on "Disciplinary crossroads: between the history of science and environmental history"

Description:

The seminar "Disciplinary crossroads: between the history of science and environmental history", organised by PhD students Max Bautista (UCLouvain), Carolina Granado (iHC-UAB) and Héctor Isern (iHC-UAB), will take place on 11 and 12 April at the iHC building (UAB Institute for the History of Science). The seminar will include the participation in the lecture series of both local and international researchers in environmental history and history of science to facilitate academic dialogue with a focus on elucidating plausible relationships and intersections between disciplinary fields.
Key points of discussion will include temporality, geographic scale, thematic concerns and methodological approaches, with a special emphasis on addressing environmental activism in contemporary ecosocial crises.
