The electronic collection is increasing in UAB libraries. New E-books about diferent disciplines are already available to all the community.
The Consorci de Biblioteques Universitàries de Catalunya has acquired two important collections from two digital books aggregators.
The first purchase is Ebrary/E-libro, with 422 multidisciplinary books, most of them are reference books from several publishers. Predominant languages are English and Spanish. The second purchase is MyLibrary, with 514 ebooks, also multidisiplinaries and from diferent publishers. The selections of these books has been made by all CBUC institutional members. This content will be available soon.
The UAB Animal Surgery Department and the Veterinary library has acquired an important collection of 200 books to Elsevier published between 2000 and 2010. These books are already available at ScienceDirect. http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/books/vetscimed
