The UAB joins the country stoppage scheduled for tomorrow, October 3rd. At the University there will be no academic activity, and the staff can freely decide whether or not to attend the job. In order to guarantee the opening of the centers, minimum services willl be established by the usual channels.

The UAB has stopped its activity during 15 minutes at noon at all the educational centers. The Governing team has called for this stoppage today, Monday October 2nd, as a sign of refusal and condemns the violence exercised by the state security forces against citizens during October 1st.

From the ideological plurality of the community that integrates our university, we share the firmest conviction that violence should never be the way to confront political conflicts in democratic societies.

Once again, we reiterate our call for dialogue and negotiation and demands to those who can act, to do so in order to redirect the severe political conflict in Catalonia.
