Shared library on travel-related emissions

The materials, including academic and non-academic articles, tools, theses, projects, initiatives and relevant current legislation, can be found in a shared folder at the following link.

The folder aims to compile the information for easy access with the idea of increasing the awareness of the whole ICTA-UAB community on the issue of academic travel-related emissions and inspire informed initiatives to address two main objectives of the group: to design tools to measure and monitor emissions, and to elaborate guidelines for reducing them.

In particular, the folder includes resources organized in the following categories:

• Emission reduction protocols, mission statements, tools, etc., including examples of guidelines, tools and policies developed by other universities or groups in the attempt to reduce the environmental impact of academic travelling.
• Scientific papers, reports, MSc and PhD thesis, etc., a collection of scientific works on the climate impact of the transport sector in general and of academic travelling in particular.
• Helpful links and resources, a word document with a list of links to relevant blogposts and online articles.

We invite the whole ICTA-UAB community to check and read the documents in the folder, and to contribute to the library with any information it finds appropriate to the scope of this shared collection.
