OA-ICC meeting on future activities for ocean acidification research
The Ocean Acidification International Coordination Centre (OA-ICC) hosted their annual expert group meeting at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Environmental Laboratories in Monaco on 28 May 2019.

The goal of the meeting was to review recent progress and discuss plans for future OA-ICC activities.
ICTA-UAB researcher Patrizia Ziveri participated in the Meeting as member of the expert group. Moreover, she is part of the SOLA-IMBER OA working group.
Twenty experts from 9 IAEA Member States, IOC-UNESCO, and IAEA staff provided recommendations on priorities for coordination of international ocean acidification activities in 2019 and beyond. They presented the focal points for each of the nine OA-ICC activities, who are also members of the SOLAS-IMBER Ocean Acidification Working Group, presented the latest updates from their activities, including progress of the Global Ocean Acidification Observing Network (GOA-ON), and the capacity building, data management and communication activities.
