Martí Boada awarded a 2023 Water Prize
ICTA-UAB honorary researcher Martí Boada has been awarded one of the 2023 Water Prizes conferred annually by the Catalan Association of Friends of Water in recognition for his numerous scientific and academic achievements.
The prize was awarded coinciding with the celebration of World Water Day and aims to stimulate, in a non-monetary way, all those initiatives, actions and trajectories related to improving the relationship Catalonia's inhabitants have with water and their natural surroundings.
The awarding of the prizes is carried out through a process of consultation among all partners, who then submit their proposals to a jury which is appointed by the directive board of the Catalan Association of Friends of Water and is made up of renowned people from the field of water management in Catalonia.
The award ceremony took place on 22 March 2023, in the August Auditorium of the Palau de Congressos in Tarragona, as part of the 5th Water Congress in Catalonia programme.
