Margarita Triguero Mas, awarded a Sustainability Travel Award 2020
ICTA-UAB researcher Margarita Triguero Mas is one of the four winners of the Sustainability Travel Award for 2020, granted by the journal Sustainability.
his prize provides financial support for the winners to attend an international conference in the field of sustainability and sustainable development to be held in 2021, in order to hold a presentation, present a poster, or both.
Co-coordinator of urban environment, health and equity at the group BCNUEJ, Margarita Triguero will present her work at a sustainable development conference this year.
An Evaluation Committee, consisting of senior scholars from the Sustainability Editorial Board, has assessed the applications.
The other award winning are Baojie He, who is from the University of New South Wales; Marco Schiavon, who is from the University of Trento and Heewon Lee, who is from Florida State University. With so many high-quality applicants, the evaluation process and final decision were challenging.
The assessment committee thanked all the applicants for submitting their diverse and fascinating range of research topics, and congratulated the winners on their accomplishments.
