The researcher Diego Andreucci of the Institute of Environmental Science and Technology (ICTA-UAB) has been awarded the Best Student Paper Prize 2015 for the journal Geoforum, for the paper Limits to “counter-neoliberal” reform: Mining expansion and the marginalisation of post-extractivist forces in Evo Morales’s Bolivia. Andreucci is a Marie Curie PhD student in the ENTITLE project.
The paper, which is part of a special issue on mining conflicts and environmental justice (coordinated by B. Rodriguez-Labajos from ICTA-UAB and B. Ozkaynak) was co-authored with Isabella Radhuber, who will be joining ICTA-UAB soon as post-doc researcher.
Many congratulations to Diego!
