Call for proposals NILS science and sustainability
Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM) operates the NILS Science and Sustainability programme, aimed at improving and deepening the academic and research collaboration among Spain on the one side and Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein on the other. Within this programme, funded by a grant from the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area, the following open calls for proposals are launched, addressed to public and private universities and to public research organisms: EEA-NILS Students call: aimed at funding Spanish universities in order to provide grants to their bachelor and master students, to carry out study or work periods in Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein, within the frame of their official study programmes. Call budget: EUR 1 010 000. Deadline for submitting proposals: October 7, 2013. Abel Mobility of Researchers calls: aimed at funding researchers mobility in order to carry out research and advanced training activities in strategic topics related to problems dealing with Earth Sustainability and Human Well-being. The call shall fund Individual Mobility of Researchers (mobility of individual scientists), and Coordinated Mobility of Researchers(exchanges among research teams). Call budget: EUR 1 657 460.
