Dario will present his recent research on public support for degrowth, conducted in collaboration with Giorgos Kallis, Jason Hickel, and Frederic Basso. He will also explore public support as a multilayered concept encompassing the broad idea of degrowth, its specific policies and initiatives, the everyday practices that embody it, and the psychological processes underlying these views.
Dr Dario Krpan is a behavioural scientist at the London School of Economics whose research examines how transformative change occurs in individuals and societies. His work develops psychological frameworks for understanding and promoting shifts toward sustainable, post-growth futures. By integrating behavioural science with policy and systems thinking, he explores how to catalyse deep, enduring change across environmental, technological, and social domains.
