After the well-deserved summer break and having so much new people in our institution, we are pleased to announce the next ICTA-UAB CARES Meeting - Welcome Back Special Edition. The session will be hybrid, you can join using the following link.

Date: Wednesday, November 15th 2023
Time: From 14:30 to 15:30h. 
Venue: Room Z/033 ICTA-UAB and online here

In this meeting we will welcome the new colleagues and catch up with the old ones, we will re-visit the goals from last years, and decide our priorities and interests for the following ones. For this, we will meet at 13:30h in the kitchen to eat together (you are welcome to bring easy-to-share tasty food!) and at 14:30h we will start the meeting in the Z-033 room. 

The ‘ICTA-UAB Cares Group’ wants to create an equitable, supportive and diversity-enhancing research environment. As a voluntary bottom-up (“grass roots”) initiative, we are a sub-community of PhDs, post-docs and other senior researchers and staff within ICTA-UAB that have self-organized to fight against abuse of any and all kinds. The group provides all a safe space to share instances of - and seek action against - harassment and micro-aggressions experienced at ICTA-UAB, as well as life-work, burnout, and wellbeing concerns.
