AGDAL - Voices of the Atlas (28 minutes)
This documentary, based on 4 years of ethnological and environmental works, analyses for the first time ever, the ancestral agdal of Yagur, a system of environmental communal management of the Berbers of the Moroccan High Atlas. The agdal will allow us access to numerous secrets of the tandem Nature and Society in the North of Africa, and will talk to us about possible futures for local populations, at the same time as it will touch upon stories combining the sacred with the art of cohabitation between shepherds and biological diversity.
