Workshop: "Ethical questions and dilemmas in research with migrant communities on climate justice and health"
- Date: Tuesday, July 15th 2025
- Time: 11.30AM – 13 PM
- Online: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86536663604?pwd=57mhEsa13IwgybozYTLJMp0meoeXs5.1
This roundtable discussion will gather the experiences and insights of experts in migration, public health and political ecology in relation to the ethical questions that emerge when doing research with vulnerable groups, in particular racialized migrant communities in European cities. We will discuss how can we elevate people’s voices and center their knowledge without imposing an identity of “vulnerability”, respecting data privacy and emotional impacts of participatory research on health and maintaining a non-extractivist approach to data collection throughout the research process.
