Description:
In the past decade, the Erasmus+ Education Policies for Global Development (GLOBED) programme has grown into a global community of researchers, professionals and political leaders committed to understanding and transforming education systems from the perspective of social justice and global development. The conference will include the participation of researchers, professionals, political leaders, alumni, and collaborating entities from all over the world to reflect on the future of educational policies and global development. Its goal is to foster dialogue at the intersection of research, public policy and professional practice.
Over the course of two days, the debates will focus on topics such as the evolution of education policy and global development over the past decade and potential future directions; the major challenges facing education systems amidst the convergence of multiple crises in diverse regional contexts; the evolving role of data, expert knowledge, and international organisations in education governance; the role of higher education internationalisation and student mobility in the current landscape; and new forms of collaboration among academia, civil society, governments, and international organisations.
