Conference by Grzegorz Rossolinski-Liebe "Stepan Bandera. Història, postguerra i polítiques de memòria"
Description:
Grzegorz Rossoliński-Liebe, lecturer of the Freie Universität Berlin and specialist in the history of the Holocaust, fascism and the politics of memory, will give a conference within the block of conference offered this year by the bachelor's degree in Contemporary History, Politics and Economics.
Rossoliński-Liebe, is author of the book Stepan Bandera. Leben und Kult, published in German in 2025 and recently translated into Spanish with the title Stepan Bandera. Fascismo, genocidio y culto. The research conducted by Rossoliński-Liebe contextualises these different ways of recalling Bandera in their political, social and historical dimensions, and focuses on both the Ukrainian diaspora, as well as the politics of memory of the USSR and Poland.
