The ECIU University, at the UAB Open Education Week

The activity «Can you imagine a different university? Open education based on territorial challenges» will take place on March 6, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., in the ECIU University space (located in the Plaça Cívica, in the cafeteria building, on the 1st floor). Registration is required before March 2.

Silvia Blanch, vice-dean for Internships at the Faculty of Education and head of the Training field at ECIU University, and Myra Ronzoni, project manager of ECIU University at the UAB, will be in charge of teaching the activity «Can you imagine a different university? Open education based on territorial challenges».

The session has been structured into a theoretical part (30 minutes) and a practical part (1.5 hours). In the first part, the training offer of the ECIU University will be described: the challenges and the micro-modules, with both online and hybrid format. In the practical part, elements of the challenge-based learning methodology will be used, and a practical case will be worked on to experience a tasting of the methodology.

This face-to-face talk, which requires prior registration, is aimed at students, PDI, PAS, agents and entities of the territory such as town halls, public and private organizations, NGOs, etc.

This activity is part of the Open Education Week 2023, an annual initiative of global reach to raise awareness of the advantages that the fact of implementing open educational resources and practices brings to society.
