The Beijing Union University at the UAB

Last 23rd and 24th May we welcomed the Chinese delegation from Beijing Union University, with its Dean Li Xuewei, and some members of the management team. On Tuesday 23rd, they enjoyed lunch at Hotel Campus, and also visited the School of Tourism & Hotel Management, as well as the School of Health and Security Management, to talk about possible collaboration and exchange programmes.

 

On Wednesday 24th, the delegation was welcomed by our Dean, Margarita Arboix, and by the director of the School of Engineering. Both Deans signed an institutional agreement between the two universities to promote further cooperation. In the afternoon, the visit finished at Casa Convalescència, where some students from Beijing Union University had studied last October at UAB Languages Barcelona. 

 

Our guests were impressed by the location and services of the UAB and Casa Convalescència and at the School of Tourism they enjoyed a session of cava tasting, where they had a brief introduction to Catalan wines.

 

We hope our guests enjoyed their stay in Barcelona.
