David Aguilera, graduate in Humanities; Juan Manuel Agulló, graduate in Biomedical Sciences; and Antonio García, graduate in Business Management and Administration; are the three former UAB students awarded the National Final Project Prize.
The 3rd edition of the Awards for the best Final Degree Projects of the UAB with a gender perspective will be delivered next Tuesday, November 27. Of the 93 Final Degree Projects of the different faculties presented, 27 will be awarded, divided among four areas of knowledge.
All money will go to cancer research, the disease TV3 focuses on this year. The 7th edition will include new aspects such as a walk around the ALBA Synchrotron and a race through the town of Cerdanyola del Vallès.
The seventh edition of the UAB Solidarity Race to raise money for the TV3 Marathon, which this year will be dedicated to cancer, will once again be celebrated on Sunday, 16 December. Coinciding with the UAB's 50th anniversary, this edition will be the most festive and supportive of all. The race will be presented on Monday 26 November at the ALBA Synchrotron which for the first time will also be included in the event's itinerary.

The FMUAB (Festa Major de la UAB) will once again be held on Thursday 8 November. The campus will be filled with stands, musical performances and cultural, supportive and sports activitieses. This year will be dedicated to refugees, under this year's university motto #UABrefugi: l'Autònoma acull.
Twenty-four universities in Spain simultaneously participate in a video competition coordinated by the UAB (under the European U-Mob project) to award the creations which best represent the values of sustainable mobility at university.
For the first time, the UAB's undergraduate and postgraduate students can participate in the UAB Barcelona Summer School, which this year expands the number of courses offered.
