At the UAB, we want to transform the world through teaching, research and knowledge transfer to improve health, education, cooperation and sustainability, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN’s 2030 Agenda. That is why we are promoting ambitious research, solidarity programmes and cultural projects.

Support the work of a UAB research group trying to find a treatment for spastic paraplegia type 52 (SPG52). Only eight children in the world suffer from this disease, one of whom is a young girl from Badalona, called Abril.
Working in the shadow of the pyramids
Help the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona’s Egyptology team to excavate and document a Pharaonic necropolis in the Saqqara desert plateau in Egypt, not far from the Step Pyramid of Djoser.
